BILL WITHERS SHOW LAST NIGHT

for those of you lucky enough to attend celebrate brooklyn's tribute to bill withers last night.

good lord........did you get to see an amazing show.

I played a very very small part in it , getting a friend of mine to perform in the show. was fun to hang and watch the rehearsals. I also was Cornell Dupree's defacto roadie!! hahahaha........one of my favorite guitarists ever and Im walking him on stage carrying his guitar....that was the shit, you'll know him from about , oh, I dont know 2500 albums or so? The best of which could be DONNY HATHAWAY LIVE....nuff said. Id carry his guitar everyday of the year and his wife is the coolest woman EVER!

Last night had so many great performances......wow.........just an incredible evening of music last night

Cory Glover, Nona Hendryx,Angelique Kidjo , Howard Tate, Cornell Dupree , Jim James, Kori Withers,Eric Mingus! , The Persuasions..........the list goes on and on.
