Tomorrow, November 4th , 2008 -BARACK OBAMA WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE REST OF THE WORLD FROM THE WHITE HOUSE.

So.....

We are finally almost there. I first heard of Barack Obama in early 2004 and was curious about him. I liked what I read and I had a feeling about him. Instantly.

JUST VOTE TOMORROW. everyone who can vote , should just do it. Honestly Im not here telling you who to vote for. It's just so important to get out there and actually VOTE in this country.

You know who my man is. My Man is Barack Hussein Obama.

I know that four years ago we made a big mistake. We were afraid as a nation and we stuck with an incumbent for very bad reasons. Thankfully he cannot be president any longer and the crimes and disastrous policy making and governance will now be over. To think that we narrowly re-elected G W Bush. Look what has happened in the last 8 years? Its insanity. It's hard to even fathom to be honest. I'm so ashamed of what has happened in this country. Its been raped and the people who have been taken advantage of the most , hardly even know it. They are incredibly unaware of the crimes committed against them. Their money is gone, their expenses are up, maybe they have a son or daughter overseas fighting a war that has been waged illegally. Whatever it is.This kind of stuff doesn't go down when the democrats run the country. While they are still crooks , some of them, they dont eat away at the base of the country and trick everyone. They also don't live off of a war economy be it a cold war or a real war. I hope that people can see that there is a difference coming with an OBAMA victory. A real concerted effort to make peoples lives better. I just somehow doubt the people that need it most can see the upside and the incredible change we have ahead of us. Let's face it , there are people out there who hate Jimmie Johnson for being the current NASCAR champ because he isnt "southern enough" or "american enough" ( for those not in the know Mr Johnson was born in El Cajon , California , apparently California is not america anymore, although it was the state where Ronald Reagan launched the GOP back into power )

I just read something about an Obama victory being something that will unify the country. I really really really really really want Obama to win. Let me say that again. I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want OBAMA TO WIN. I do not however kid myself and think that his victory will unify this country.

It will not.

His victory will simply be people saying that they have had enough of what's been happening but he has a TON of work to do. He has a mountain to climb as president and guess what? Even if he gets 300+ electoral votes never underestimate the really angry , racist , sick people that live in this country that will now , forever be doom sayers and defeatist. There are a truck load of people out there, down on their luck, hateful of minorities. These people( hateful whites) are a big part of the problem that this country faces right now. They will look at a black president as proof that this country is now ruined. Funny how they will not look at the current administration as having done the mass bulk of that work and ruination that they fear a BLACK president will be responsible for. Oh its ok for BUSH to have Condy Rice and Colin Powell in his cabinet, but one of them in charge? NO WAY........."NOT ONE OF "THEM" .........." We all know what "THEM" means.........if you dont, just watch BLAZING SADDLES and you'll know. THE USA HAS TURNED INTO ROCK RIDGE and its time for a new Sherif, I think that turned out alright in the end. Well at least Cleavon Little got to ride up to the BASIE band while it played "April in Paris" in the middle of the desert!.....great stuff. Rock Ridge the fictional town in that film really does remind me of how I feel about this country. Especially when Im overseas and talk to people about the United States.

I think I see hat's coming with and Obama victory. Just get ready for the angry , aggressive right wing back lash. It's looking like , the DEMS are gonna be able to run everything for at least 4 years. WE MUST MAKE THEM DO THE RIGHT THING. TOMORROW IS JUST THE BEGINNING. OBAMA IS THE LEADER OF A MOVEMENT OF POLICY MAKERS AND WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM DOING THE RIGHT THING. It does not simply end tomorrow because we vote for Obama and say to ourselves......"well thats it , the good guys won and now everything is going to be ok" That's not how it works. It will not work that way at all. There is so much to do, so much shit that needs to be fixed and changed. If we let them just do it themselves, we are screwed. WE ELECT THESE PEOPLE AND PAY FOR THIS GOVT.........its ours to tell what to do. THEY RESPOND. Its time to really make this country WORK for us. Also, think about how popular and how much money RUSH LIMBAUGH is about to make. Obama winning assures us that this complete douche bag , get a forum for years to come if he can keep his hands off the Vicodin for long enough. I really do dislike you Mr. Limbaugh.

As I write this, sadly, I know deep in my heart there are really angry white people who are very angry at the thought of having a black president. These people do not care about the decision making and policy of a black president. Do not care about his background or his education. They do not care about the love of his country or his family. They do not care about the real change in direction he potentially brings. They care about one thing and one thing only. HE IS BLACK and THEY DO NOT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE.

this election was about race, the human race. This election is about NASCAR no longer making policy decisions in this country. This election is about changing even if not all the way, some of the way big business has been bogging down this country. This election is about a paradigm shift and a sea change in american culture. But its just a beginning. Obama if he wins will need to do everything right. He cannot make a mistake and his first 100 days have to be perfect. Period. A black man, an insanely intelligent black man will not be measured the same way say a moderately at best educated white man such as george w bush was measured. Obama needs to be Michael Jordan , , Fredrick Douglas , W.E.B Dubois , Cornell West and Duke Ellington all rolled up into one unflappable perfect human being. yeah, try taking on that kind of pressure people. He will be openly hated by a lot of people and the divide that will now exist in this country as a result of his being elected will be noticeable and very uncomfortable. The billy bobs and the good old boys of this country are about to be very vocal and angry and NOW not in charge. The scary thing is, they've only been duped recently into thinking they were in charge. THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN. I don't even know where to start regarding the evangelicals. They will now , work even harder than ever to rally their forces and support. We are headed into days that will be defined by how divided peoples views and feelings are in my opinion. Its going to get worse before it gets better, but its going to get better. IT WILL GET BETTER.

Some say its too soon for a black president. I say , its been too long. Its time for people to be forced to change and its time to take this country BACK and celebrate things. Its time to celebrate a leader who on all counts appears to be someone who listens, who thinks things through, who has the calm demeanor to reach out to people and create unity. Let's celebrate the end or logical conclusion of two wars that are a drag on both our spirits and economy. Let's celebrate the possibility of finally capturing those responsible for the crimes of 9/11 in a fashion that shows that we are not letting our guard down but now finally going to go where it actually STARTED from. Let's celebrate the real possibility that no longer will we have in govt people like dick cheney , george w bush , condaleza rice ( sorry I can't spell her name correctly ever, or did I get it right?) , donald rumsfeld ( I know he is gone but now he will actually really never return ) Let's celebrate the fact that people, people who although they are politicians and wont do everything perfectly who actually read a newspaper and visit foreign countries and know about other cultures are going to run the white house. ITS ABOUT FUCKING TIME..........Lets usher back in the good days of the 90's again. LETS BE FRIENDS WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD AND NOT THE NASTY KID IN THE SANDBOX HOARDING ALL THE TOYS...........btw, russia and china have a lot of toys and a lot of currency reserves and are going to want to flex their muscles and you cant dictate to them AT ALL.

BARACK OBAMA WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE REST OF THE WORLD FROM THE WHITE HOUSE..........and we really need that right now.

Let's let Gov. Palin go back to Alaska so she can "keep her eye on Russia". (much like Mel Brooks's character in the aforementioned "BLAZING SADDLES" someone should give her a jacket that says "GOV" in bold letters written on it's back........Maybe that jacket doesnt need to cost 150K though? Just a thought )
