Mel Brooks covered this topic incredibly well in "History Of The World Part I" If you remember the scene very well. Comicus ( mel brooks ) is doing his stand up routine in front of Caesar ( Dom DeLouise ) and he essentially says all of the politicians are crooks and it goes right up all the way to the emperor! Then Dom Delouise says "Kill HIM!" Of course shortly before this he had been taking a "Treasure Bath"

it's really phenomenal stuff

and its essentially how i feel about taxes although I is a good boy and I pay every last cent I owe as I don't think its a very smart thing to mess around with those IRS boys. Plus. well. I need to pay so all the banks and failed predatory loaning institutions can be bailed out after all!

Will I ever really get some money back? I mean, I guess I do on a daily basis. The street i live on is clean. The trash is removed , the water I drink and bathe in is ostensibly clean. The roads I drive on when I drive are pretty well maintained. There is public order via local and state police departments in the states I reside in and visit.

So you have to pay taxes......big deal. STOP YER YAPPIN!

hahaha......just kidding. I know its a pain in the ass.

I like to think that eventually everything works out and that even though we complain a lot about paying the government don't we also have a lot of great things too? Free school , Free libraries , Fire Departments , Police protection , it's more socialist than you think in this country.

but whatever, the main thing I beef about is healthcare anyway. I'd really love to think that during this administration that will get sorted out. I am sick of being penalized for owning a company and employing myself and being a single man. IT COSTS A FORTUNE and is by far my biggest expense outside of household expenditures.
