Guess what we learned today? 500,000,000 pounds of dry wall made in China in the last 5-8 years might very well be made out of back issues of the Beijing Daily Worker , Moldy won tons and the ghost of Mao!

YAY!

China finds yet another way to grow its economy at a rate of between 6.5-10% a year while we suffocate on our own greed and lack of attention to detail.

When crude oil was selling for a startling $147 dollars a barrel last July 11th I understood. It made sense. Food would have to jump in price as the cost for shipping it , growing it was greatly affected. So it was without much of a thought that I would walk into my neighborhood bagel shop and willingly pay $1.10 for a bagel. H&H Bagels in NY is basically an institution. Some of the best bagels on earth in my opinion and well, they were apparently getting hit hard by the energy price surge. I wasn't one to ask at that time. I like a crack whore fiending for the rock understood.

Upon reaching the level of 5th ranked all time scorer in the NBA last night, Shaquille O'Neal was quoted as saying this about being right behind Wilt Chamberlain in the top 5 of all time.

“It shows I’ve been consistent at what I’ve been doing and the next guy is my illegitimate father—Wilt Chamberlain—so just like in Star Wars, hopefully I can catch up to my father.”

How can you not love that? The guy is really a character and seems like a really good person on top of that. Always has cracked me up , especially more so in the last couple of years.

It's like the media is following it like its "Storm watch 2009" I'm surprised there isn't some sort of "DOPPLER 5000 AL ROKER RADAR" equivalent for the economy like DOLLAR WATCH 3000™ or ECONOMETER 9000™ I've just had enough. Im sitting here in my swanky midtown east apartment, riddled with the flu. Sound fun? YOU BET YOUR ASS IT IS!!!!

I will tell you this. I now because of netflix/xbox streaming video rentals account know more about NAZI's, THE EASTERN FRONT, AUSCHWITZ and THE WAR IN THE FAR EAST than anybody on earth. nothing like a fever and stuff nose to make you sit in one place and watch a crap load of documentaries. ( not that I don't do that a bunch as it is. )

Im watching a documentary called "OFFICE TIGERS"

It's all about outsourcing in India. I think it was made in 2006. It's about a company called Office Tiger which opened up offices in India in the late 90's and basically set up services for Fortune 500 companies for support, type setting and graphics work.

You should check this out.

Basically the United States has gotten in the business of exporting the american dream.

It was a lot of fun. I gotta say ANDERS OLSON was absolutely amazing. If you dont know his music , check it out. what a killer guitar player. BIG SAMS FUNKY NATION was as usual funky and LOUD! it was good...ERIC LINDELL threw down as well....great night. FUN FUN FUN
