NEW CHRIS ROCK SPECIAL ON HBO
Sunday, September 28, 2008i watched the new chris rock special on HBO last night and it was very clever. The special was filmed in London, South Africa ( not sure which city ) and NY ( I think) wow.......I don't know everything....hahaha.....
ANYWAY....
He is such a great fucking comic. Its a really good special. Totally should watch it.
He brought up something last night that really made me think of Lenny Bruce. It was such a clever observation about race and it was spot on.
He said the following.
He said he lives in a house that costs millions and he is one of the most successful comedians on the planet, that the only other black people that live near him are mary j blige one of the biggest r & b singers on earth and Jay z who is one of the biggest rappers on earth..........yet..............his white neighbor is a dentist.....not even a really good one.....just a middle of the road dentist....he said in order for a black dentist to live in his neighborhood he would have TO INVENT TEETH!!!!............thought it was a funny observation.......a mediocre white dentist can live next to one of the biggest black comedians ............ funny shit and SPOT ON.
watch it if you get a chance.
